What Does This Say About Us . . . ?

Mary finished reading "The Cat In The Hat" to me today.  When we reached the part where the mother came in and saw the clean home, Mary gasped and said, "Oh no - it's too clean, she's going to know something is wrong!"

In family prayer last night, Charlotte said, "Thank you that Mom ran out of time so we could have unhealthy chicken for dinner."

Apparently my efforts to lower the fat in our diet by baking our chicken dishes have not been well received because Jacob also complimented me on how great the chicken was last evening.  Considering he usually dreads dinner, his words were significant :).

Finally, the following just shows how Laurel's brain clicks.  I took her out for a one-on-one and as we were driving back, we passed the new frozen yogurt place called the Tutti Frutti.  "What's that?"  "A frozen yogurt place.  It's like ice cream, but it's yogurt.  A couple have opened up this year - there's the Tutti Frutti here and the Cherry Berry by Costco."  Silence for a few moments.  "So do the names all have to rhyme?"  I laughed.
