Corn Maze

October was crazy for us between swimming, piano lessons, activity days, scouts, basketball and homework.  We were literally running every night and every weekend.  It was starting to wear on all of us.  So last weekend we grabbed two free hours and headed to the corn maze.  Wow - it is amazing what two hours, outside, as a family can do for us.  We were all smiles for the rest of the weekend.  Family fun is so renewing - love it, love it, love it!
We took turns navigating through the maze.  Not pictured is Dad using his phone to look up all of the trivia questions so we could maybe win season tickets to the TWINS next year.

Mary was quickly bored with wandering around in the corn so she discovered stalks made great pencils for the sand and left her mark at every stop.

Corn Pit - always a great time!

The closer we got to closing time, the emptier the place became until it was essentially our family and a few other brave souls left.  Of course, we had to play a game of tag across the hay bale maze followed  by several rounds of "Sardines"(it is incredibly fun to scrunch down in a remote corner while people search for you).  Not pictured is Mom buying the traditional cheese curds and mini donuts while Dad slips and takes a serious hit to the ribs while chasing Laurel.
