Addendum: Words from my cousin

My cousin Barbara sent this out to the family regarding her mother.  I want to keep these words so I'm adding them here:

Mother hung in there for the sake of my dad.  Mom has fiercely insisted on bearing the brunt of Dad's care these past several years..  She did this despite her breast cancer that she hid from us for over 10 years, her worn out heart and bad knees.  Yesterday, she told us now that dad was gone, she wanted to go off her oxygen.  With the help of hospice we allowed her to have her wish.  It was always her wish that she and dad could go together.  Not many couples get that wish.  We are happy that Mom has joined dad and her beloved family that have already passed beyond the veil.  We know they are having a grand reunion!
