So, so what, I'm still a rock star, I've got my rock moves, and I don't need you - guess what, I'm having more fun, now that we're done, I'm going to show you tonight . . .
A mother of two (boy & girl, of course), cancelled a play date with one of my kids because her kids needed some down time. When I asked how they were spending the afternoon, she said she was taking them to a movie. Doesn't "down time" mean time at home or time as a family or time to just be creative???? In our house it does. Here are my kids doing karaoke - that's downtime, baby!
