This is what we woke up to . . .
Mad scramble for Mom to find hats, gloves, snowpants, boots, and coats so no child gets detention (yes, our school gives detention if you don't dress your child properly).
Kids whoop for joy!
Youngest gets on her coat and opens the garage door so she can play in the snow before school.
Older kids make plans to sled and build a snowman after school.
Oldest asks if he can walk to school today (doesn't ever want to do this on the sunny days, but hey, if it's snowing, let's go!).
Girls squeal with delight when they see snow on the playground equipment - can't wait to get soaking wet!
Mom keeps thinking about friend in Arizona who just posted about going for a walk IN HER FLIP FLOPS. Oh - vey!
We drop kids off at school. Youngest pulls out her sled and enjoys life in Minnesota.
Mom decides, ya just gotta love it!
I love the pure joy of your children when they saw the snow! Teya was the same way. SO excited and couldn't wait to build a snowman. If we're going to have snow in Oct. at least the kids are enjoying it : )
