Laurel's 8th Birthday

Laurel turned 8 this month.  And as luck would have it, her school program was scheduled for the same night as her birthday making her the first of our children to have Grandma attend one of her school events.  Our little bug sang and quoted her heart out during her "Glow" program.  We lined up at the school doors with the other crazy parents seeking good seats and a legal parking space.   We enjoyed the program and left knowing that our second-grader was the most talented one up there.  And we celebrated Laurel turning 8.
