July 13-17 Week's Adventures

Monday: Jacob started Advanced Robotics class. Charlotte got her molars sealed at the dentist and the girls had swimming lessons. Jacob lost in 4th tournament game that night, ending his baseball season.

Tuesday: Laurel has art class at Kerber park. And I do the Webelo's Showman Badge at my house. The boys wrote and acted out a one-act play. As you can see, we have a lot of fun!

Wednesday: Jacob finally gets the brace off his front teeth and we get to wait 3 months before we take him back for another set of xrays. Yea - it looks like he's going to keep his two front teeth! Charlotte attends her first ever sleep-over with the activity day girls. We don't allow sleepovers so this being a church event was a dream come true for Charlotte. Of course if Aunt Kate & Uncle Brian are reading this and want to invite her (and Jacob) over - they'd love it and we'd let them come :).

Before

After with Christy and Betsy (This leader is a true saint to host 15 girls for a sleepover!)

Thursday: Jacob completes his Robotics class and brings home "The Black Bug" which we use to snag things for us with it's robotic arm. Charlotte, Laurel, and Mary finish swim lessons and for the first time EVER - everyone passes to the next level. Mom does a victory dance in the parking lot.

Friday: We take Jackie to the vet for an annual check-up and leave $140 poorer. I believe we have the primo vet when all we really want is a country vet. Time to find a new "provider" for our lovely cat. I take the kids to OCB (Old Country Buffet) for lunch. David refuses to go to OCB, but the kids love it, so I take them when David's at work or not around. They absolutely LOVE controlling their own food choices and having multiple desserts.

Saturday: French Park in Plymouth followed by lunch at Chili's. We also did lots of GeoCaching - but that story is in another entry.

  2. We'll certainly have to find a time when Charlotte and Jacob can come over and play. Hopefully we can find time before the school year begins! Any plans yet for a weekend camping adventure up to Uncle Rudy's?
