And Dad is getting even better . . .

Just spoke with Mom again and she said Dad had a really good day. Mom was amazed at how lucid he is now (the drain is apparently working really well). Dad doesn't remember anything he said or did last night. The good news is that today he understands where he is, is eating again, polite, etc. Mom is currently on her way back to Cowley to shower and have a good night's rest. This means she'll be able to charge her cell phone, so please feel free to call tomorrow after she returns to Billings. She said Neil & Rex called and were able to talk to Dad which he REALLY enjoyed so feel free to call so you can speak to him directly. The plan is to take the drain out tomorrow, move him to a regular room where he will be observed for 24 hours and then he'll be able to go home in a couple of days if all goes smoothly. Things are definitely looking up!
