Love Blogging

This blog is blessing my life in ways I never expected. Sure, I expected to make a record of my own life that I could keep, but I never anticipated that I would be able to connect with family members via our blogs.

Last week my great nephew (yes, isn't that awful that I already have a GREAT nephew) fell off his bike and broke his femur bone. My sister-in-law (his granny) let me know about the accident. Of course we started including Seth in our family prayers. My kids wanted to know who Seth was and why we were praying for him. I loved showing them my nephew & niece's family blog which had a picture of Seth. I told my kids about his accident and how our prayers could help him heal. They also learned that this mom and dad were really their cousins and Seth was their second cousin, but we could be just as close to him as his parents. I love that our family who live in other states are becoming more real and personal to us through modern technology. Blogging really is drawing us closer together and I love it.
